How To Install Bathroom Light Bar

It is fairly easy to install bathroom light bars, but there are a few steps you should be aware of before starting. Lighting bars are a great way to spruce up a bathroom and give it a more modern feel.

The first step is to turn off the power for the light fixture at the breaker box. This will prevent you from getting shocked as well as provide a safe working environment. Once the power is off, you will need to remove the old light bar and any wiring that is attached to it. Be sure to disconnect any wires carefully to ensure no damage occurs to the wiring.

Next, position the new light bar where it will be located in the bathroom. Mark the position with a pencil or marker and make sure it is level. This is important in order for the light bar to function properly. You can now attach the new light bar to the wall, using the appropriate screws for your wall type. Make sure the screws are tight and secure.

You can then attach the wiring from the light bar to the existing wiring in the wall. Connect the hot wire (black) to the black wire from the light bar, the neutral wire (white) to the white wire from the light bar, and the ground wire (green) to the green wire from the light bar. Make sure all of the connections are tight.

Finally, turn the power back on for the light fixture at the breaker box and test the light bar. If it functions properly, you have successfully installed the bathroom light bar. If there is any problem with the light bar, make sure to disconnect the power and investigate before continuing.

Installing a bathroom light bar is not too complicated and can be done quickly. As long as you follow all the appropriate steps, you will be able to enjoy your new lighting fixture in no time.
